FOUNDED BY
Azzaik was founded by Paulina Labarta (me) along with Pedro Labarta and Veronica Meza. I grew up in Mexico City, entrepreneurship was ingrained in me from as far back as I can remember. Christmas time meant making handmade gift tags to sell to my family, and at school, I was the go-to person for bracelets and those trendy spinners back in 2016. I even baked donuts to sell in my neighbourhood. The entrepreneurial spark was always there, guiding my every move.
At the age of 13, my family and I moved to Canada. From there my life has been crazy busy. It’s this chaos that led me to the decision to launch Azzaik, with a focus on putting functionality first in everything (even jewelry).
After spending months trying to find personal and waterproof pieces that were on trend, I did not find anything that caught my eye. Which led me to focus Azzaik in waterproof, practical, personal and trendy pieces andyone can own!
